Why You Need To Be Passionate, Not Motivated

“Those with passion do, and those without passion try.”

There comes a point on your fitness journey where you may start feeling drained. You may find yourself questioning why you started counting macros, or if that early morning run before training is really worth the extra 15 minutes of sleep you could’ve squeezed in.

An encouraging, “you got this!” from your coach or a quote you read on Facebook are only band-aid solutions if you’ve lost the drive in yourself.

Take a step back and assess what your fitness journey really means. If you find passion for the processes that bring you closer to your goals — you won’t need motivation to get there.
